Nvidia Projects Massive Growth Potential for AI Chip Market
Speaking at an event in California, Jensen Huang expressed strong confidence in the scale of future demand, stating: "Right here where I stand, I see through 2027, at least $1 trillion." He further suggested that the actual need for computing power could exceed that projection.
Huang highlighted the expanding scope of Nvidia’s technology ecosystem, noting that it now covers both virtual and real-world AI applications. These range from personal AI assistants powered by advanced systems to autonomous machines, including robots and self-driving vehicles, as well as broader enterprise and edge computing solutions.
He also pointed to a turning point in how AI systems are deployed and utilized, remarking: “The inference inflection has arrived,” and stressing that the appetite for AI-driven computing continues to grow rapidly as organizations increasingly integrate such technologies into their operations.
